Studio Terms & Conditions
1. Studio App Requirement
All parents and adult students are required to download and use the Just Ballet App for enrolment, communication, class management, and important updates.
All bookings, absences, and notifications will be managed through the app.
2. Attendance & Punctuality
Students are expected to attend classes regularly and arrive 5–10 minutes prior to class.
3. Supervision & Safety
Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising students before and after class.
Just Ballet is not responsible for students outside scheduled class times.
Pre-School Student Supervision
Parents/guardians must remain on-site or nearby and be contactable at all times during class. Due to their age, students may require immediate assistance. Just Ballet is not responsible for providing individual care beyond the scope of the class.
4. Pick-Up Policy
Parents must collect students promptly at the end of class. The school is not liable for students left unsupervised after class.
5. Dress Code
All students are required to wear the official Just Ballet uniform, in the correct style and colour designated for their level. Only Just Ballet approved uniforms are permitted. Hair must be neatly secured in a bun or appropriate ballet hairstyle for all ballet classes.
6. Health & Medical Conditions
Parents/guardians confirm that students are physically fit to participate and will disclose any relevant medical conditions.
7. Physical Contact
Students/parents acknowledge that appropriate physical contact may be required for correction of technique.
8. Behaviour Standards
Students and families are expected to maintain respectful behaviour at all times.
9. Anti-Discrimination & Safe Environment
Just Ballet is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment free from discrimination or harassment of any kind.
10. Minimum Class Numbers
Classes require a minimum number of students. Just Ballet reserves the right to adjust or cancel classes if necessary.
11. Online Classes / Force Majeure
In the event of government restrictions or unforeseen circumstances, classes may transition online. Fees will remain unchanged.
Fees & Payment Policy
1. Enrolment Fee (Children Only)
An annual enrolment fee of $50 per student applies.
A discounted rate of $35 applies for the second child from the same family.
This fee covers insurance, music licensing, class equipment, and administrative costs, and is non-refundable.
2. Tuition Fees
All tuition fees are charged per school term (based on the Queensland school calendar) and must be paid in full prior to the commencement of classes.
Late payment may result in loss of placement. Just Ballet does not guarantee availability in the same class if payment is not received on time.
3. Payment Methods
A surcharge applies to online payments (2.11% for credit card, 1.3% for direct debit).
Bank transfer is recommended to avoid surcharges.
4. No Refund Policy
All fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
* Change of mind
* Missed classes
* Illness or injury
* Family commitments, holidays, or scheduling conflicts
* Withdrawal during term
* Differences in private school term lengths
5. Make-Up Classes
Students are eligible for one make-up class per term, subject to availability.
Make-up classes:
* Must be completed within the same term
* Cannot be carried forward
* Are not guaranteed and must be arranged in advance
6. Exceptional Circumstances
In cases of serious medical conditions (e.g. hospitalisation), requests may be considered upon submission of a valid medical certificate. Approval is at the sole discretion of Just Ballet.
7. Discounts
Unlimited Pass:
Students attending more than 4 classes per week may receive additional classes at no extra cost, provided consistent attendance is maintained. Excessive absences may result in cancellation of eligibility.
Family Discount:
For families with four enrolled children, the fourth child’s tuition is waived (excluding enrolment and uniform fees).
8. Trial Classes
Trial classes must be booked and paid in advance. No refunds will be issued for missed trial classes.
9. Private Coaching
Private lessons require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellation. Late cancellations or missed sessions will be charged in full.
10. Class Changes & Cancellations
Just Ballet reserves the right to adjust schedules, substitute teachers, or cancel classes. Where applicable, a suitable alternative or credit will be offered.
Adult Dance Pass & Policy
1. Adult Dance Pass Options
Adult Dance Passes are available for use across all classes listed in the adult timetable. Senior classes are not included.
* $350 – 10 Class Pass (valid for 3 months from first use)
* $1,650 – 50 Class Pass (valid for 12 months from first use)
* $3,000 – 100 Class Pass (valid for 12 months from first use)
* $5,000 – Unlimited Pass (valid for 12 months from first use)
A complimentary Just Ballet T-shirt and ballet uniform will be provided with the purchase of the 100 Class Pass and Unlimited Pass.
All passes are strictly non-refundable.
2. Class Booking Requirement
All adult classes must be booked in advance through the Just Ballet App. Walk-in attendance is not guaranteed and is subject to availability.
3. Booking & Cancellation Policy
All bookings and cancellations must be completed at least 6 hours prior to the scheduled class time.
Late cancellations, changes, or failure to attend (no-show) will result in one class being deducted from the pass, regardless of the reason.
4. Pass Validity & Expiry
All passes are valid for the specified duration from the date of the first registered class.
Unused classes will automatically expire at the end of the validity period. Extensions will not be granted except under exceptional circumstances at the sole discretion of Just Ballet.
5. Membership Freeze Policy
Each adult student is permitted one freeze per pass, subject to the following conditions:
* A start date and end date must be provided at the time of request
* Open-ended or indefinite freezes are not permitted
* Freeze requests must be submitted prior to the pass expiry date
Maximum freeze duration:
* 10 Class Pass: up to 3 months
* 50 Class Pass: up to 6 months
* 100 Class Pass & Unlimited Pass: up to 12 months
6. Special Circumstances
In cases such as pregnancy, serious medical conditions, or government-mandated closures, alternative arrangements may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Approval is at the sole discretion of Just Ballet.
7. General Conditions
Just Ballet reserves the right to adjust class schedules, substitute instructors, or make operational changes where necessary.
Media Consent
Photos and videos may be taken during classes, rehearsals, and performances for educational and promotional purposes.
This may include use on:
* Social media
* Website
* Marketing materials
All content will be used respectfully and professionally.
By enrolling, you consent to the use of such media unless you notify us in writing.
CCTV may be in operation within the studio for safety and security purposes.
We do not sell or distribute media to third parties.
Privacy Policy
At Just Ballet, we are committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of our students and families. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and manage your information.

* Parent/guardian names, phone numbers, and email addresses
* Student names, dates of birth, and relevant class information
* Medical or health information where necessary for participation
* Payment and billing details

* Manage enrolments and class placements
* Communicate important updates regarding classes, schedules, and events

* Promote Just Ballet through selected photos and videos (see Section 5)

We respect your privacy and will not sell or rent your personal information.
Your information may be shared only when necessary with:
* Secure payment providers
* Competition or event organisers (where participation is required)
* Government authorities if required by law
4. Data Storage and Security
All personal information is stored securely through our management system and protected against unauthorised access.
We take reasonable steps to ensure your information is kept safe and up to date.
5. Photos and Videos
Photos and videos may be taken during classes, rehearsals, and performances for:
* Educational and training purposes
* Internal review and student development
* Promotional use (e.g. website, social media, marketing materials)
By enrolling at Just Ballet, you consent to the use of such media unless you notify us in writing.
6. Access and Updates
You may request access to your personal information or ask for corrections at any time by contacting us.
7. Updates to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our operations or legal requirements.
